Removal of Blogs and the online readers community.

You may have noticed that the Daily Star has removed the visable links to this page and its blogs from its website. Now certainly, they did not get the splash they had hoped for from this site. Less than 15 people signed on and no one ever posts here. Not even our friend scoop.

Well, I guess we'll just have to see if anyone notices.

Hi Michael,

Don't count us out yet. The link wasn't removed for any other reason but for temporary reasons and some reorganization. This community wasn't advertised and the only link was at the bottom of our website. I'm glad to see that those 15 people did sign up, it means there is some interest. As stated in the first post, it's kind of an experiment for something bigger. Such as forums.

Would anyone be interested in forums on thedailystar.com?

Good for you Scoop, I really had no idea if this page was even on the radar.

What exactly do you mean by forums on the main page?

Well we'd like to put a forum on our website. Something similar to this free online community, thedailystar.ning.com. After we get the kinks worked out, we'll be launching a forum at some point in the near future. A forum where people can register, talk about articles they read in the paper or other issues that are affecting the communities around you and us.
